E2 28 Day Challenge Day 7

Wow- you guys.

I literally got all snug in bed, set my alarm, then realized I did not yet post today.

I could have just gone to bed, besides, no one is really holding me accountable here, at 10:23 in the evening. But instead, I snapped up, and here I am. Ready to jot down my dairy free, meat free, oil free, minimally processed food 28 day journey.

Let’s make this brief as we’re both tired, ok?

If you follow me over on twitter @maryeatspdx, you might notice I’m up in Seattle filming for work, which is great fun, but also means I need to keep up with my day to day, after my day of filming has ended, not leaving a lot of time for blogging. Eating while filming is also challenging because you have to be well prepared. I don’t even have craft services here guys, just me, and a camera man.

FOOD DAIRY DAY 7

Breakfast: A banana on the way to the airport

Morning Snack: 3 cups of coffee, one at the airport, one one on the plane and one more after I got off the plane, but had to wait for my camera man to arrive from LA

Pre Lunch Snack: A cup of sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, 1 cup steamed kale wolfed down between interviews.

Lunch: An avocado maki roll with plenty of wasabi and soy sauce. No brown rice option.

Sizzling Tofu Basket

Dinner: Out with an old friend at a Thai restaurant. Not wanting to be a pain I couldn’t bring myself to ask the staff to steam me some vegetables without oil, and i was ravenous not having had much to eat in the morning. Scanning the back of page of the menu, titled Vegetarian, I picked the lesser of the evils and went for glass noodles and tofu. CLEARLY this dish had oil, and I didn’t need to eat most all of it, but I did. Oh- we also had some lovely fresh rolls that had just a bit of crunch stuff in them, but not enough to identify and remove from the roll. A  B-minus dinner out E2 wise, but A+ in company.

Drinks: ONE glass of red wine (and lots of aforementioned coffee)
