A cornerstone for Italian dining in Gagnam, Puccini continually draws in dinners with authentic ingredients and well-executed meals. The three story dining space offers a glimpse of Italy with Venetian masks and portraits, a baby grand piano stands as a centerpiece, and an outdoor terrace allows for dining al fresco. The wood burning over produces thin-crust pizzas, and hand made pastas should not be missed. The house special, spaghetti Puccini, a spectacle if not a tasty one combines spaghetti in a spicy sauce, cooked in a hollowed out wheel of Parmesan cheese. Do not skip out on dessert. Home made sorbet in a variety of flavors makes the trip worth going alone.
