Overview:

Homyeong Dang’s modern Asian décor looks pulled from the pages of a Taschen Hip Restaurants edition. Chain mesh hangs to hide mirrored walls, floors and ceilings echo industrial minimalism; the place attracts both beautiful people and people with an appetite for beautifully presented dishes. Many of the entrees shine with originality, but as a whole it is eclectic. Italian salads, American sandwiches, Chinese noodles, and sushi? Oh my! Fresh and zesty, the tofu salad is big enough for two as an appetizer, but it could suffice as a light main. An Asian influence dominates the noodle dishes, which are prepared hot, cold, in soups, fried or dressed in complex sauces. The miso crab linguini tasted surprisingly Italian. Also worth trying is the Hohaemeong (14,000 won), a piquant noodle soup, with assertive aromas of chili and fresh coriander. Mugs of hot sake (6,000 won) make an excellent alternative to the sparse and expensive beverage list- a glass of house wine will set you back 10,000 won.
