Overview:

Katsura is nestled between a LG phone shop and a bakery, with the smallest of street signs. It is east to miss. However those patient enough to stand in line, are rewarded with inexpensive, authentic Japanese grub. Entering through a pair of iconic blue Japanese curtains, the place doesn’t look like much. The low cluster of tables, chefs behind the bar, and sake bottles lining the walls emphasize the cozy, no frills atmosphere. The menu features classics, tofu agadashi, shrimp tempura udon, and the crispest of cutlets. Drinks are confined to beers, sake (ask for the daru sake), and Korean liquors.
