This year there are a lot of firsts.

It is my first thanksgiving as a mom

It is my first thanksgiving in Portland

It is my first thanksgiving with Matthew

It is my first thanksgiving brining a turkey

Heck, it is my first thanksgiving making a turkey

It is the first time i’ll use oven bags, bake an apple pie, and make a pumpkin pie.

All this newness is quite exciting.
